ACORN ADVENTURE MOVES BACK TO STOURBRIDGE

Established over 30 years ago by Former Birmingham teacher Andrew Gardiner; Acorn Adventure was created to give young people the opportunity to experience adventure in an environment that encourages a passion for the outdoors, individual confidence and a `community spirit` whilst reducing the overbearing importance of social media updates and the new ‘must-haves’ in technology.

The office moved to Halesowen, 10 years ago, but at the start of 2015 our close knit family business thought now was the perfect time to bring Acorn back to its original home of 22 Worcester Street, Stourbridge. Each summer, throughout the business Acorn employ over 350 young people nationwide, to help provide one of the best Adventure Holiday tour operations in the country.

Stourbridge MP Margot James, praised Acorn for the amazing opportunities they give to young people wanting to work across Europe,  as well as the enrichment of the lives they offer to all the children they interact with.

Sister company, The School Travel Company, has provided residential school trips to over 1 million school children and teachers worldwide. They are the only school travel company to publish prices for the  trips offered on line, as well as tailor making any itinerary which exactly meets the requirements of the school.
