The accommodation is all part of Acorn’s ‘adventure experience’, but without the discomfort and hassle often associated with camping. We aim to make camping easy with all the benefits of sleeping under the stars in comfort and we even do all the cooking and washing up!
We believe that all children should get to experience the wonders of camping, which is why we also specialise in school and youth group adventure holidays (www.acornadventure.co.uk). A family camping holiday is even more special because it encourages ‘quality family time’; that essential and rare time away from gadgets and the busy aspects of day-to-day family life. A chance to lose yourselves in the tranquillity that only nature brings as well as to try new things together as a family. Conquering fears and enjoying a lot of laughter along the way! Lots of families like the idea of camping, but are put off by some of the work involved, such as how to fit everything in the car, buying and storing food and cooking and washing up (something many of us go on holiday to escape!). With us family camping is easy. All the benefits of camping in the great outdoors, without the hassle! Our family camping villages offer pre-erected standing height tents with beds and parent tents (because we know you prefer a little more to the kids) include fridges (oveseas), electricity, a wardrobe and light. Our staff cook and serve your meals in your marquee which is central to your village and also do all the washing up, leaving you time to spend as a family or socialising with the other like-minded families on your village. After dinner, our team keep the children entertained with a busy evening programme leaving you time to relax. Or you can join in on the fun!
Here are our accommodation options:
